Natalie Adams began her career with the Ironton Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization Family Medical Centers in 2018 as a Behavioral Health Consultant. Natalie was promoted to the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Services in January of 2020.
Natalie is responsible for the oversite of the behavioral health services located within seven established Family Medical Centers. In addition, Natalie leads her team of behavioral health specialist in serving the community by providing up to date evidence based practice, such as EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, and DBT. Natalie also assists patients in the organization’s MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment) and Recovery to Work (R2W) programs. Participants in R2W are individuals in recovery from active addiction who are required to follow the program’s regimen of individual and group counseling, medication monitoring, job training, and life skills training on a path to obtaining full-time employment with recovery friendly employers.
Natalie is a member of Judge Ballard’s treatment team for the Nexus Recovery Docket, as well as a member of Judge Finley’s Re-Entry Court treatment team. Natalie has served the Lawrence County Common Pleas Court as an addiction and behavioral health specialist since 2017. She strongly believes the best way to effect change is to be actively involved in the community.
